REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS

THE SIXTH ANNUAL

PAUL W. GABONAY VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

Do you know a dedicated volunteer whom you would like to honor? The College Career Center Consortium is requesting nominations for our sixth annual Paul W. Gabonay Volunteer Service Award. This prize, which includes a $500 monetary award and commemorative plaque, will recognize the undergraduate student of a member school who best exemplifies the qualities of integrity, commitment to serving those in need, and dedication to fostering the growth and gifts of others.

The Paul W. Gabonay Volunteer Service Award is named for a long-term member and leader of the College Career Center Consortium (CCCC) who served the Consortium for over 35 years prior while Director of Career Services at the University of Indianapolis. Both in his work and through his community service activities, Paul has manifested the qualities that now serve as the criteria for this award.

To be eligible for the Paul W. Gabonay Volunteer Service Award, nominees must:

  • have provided significant unpaid, direct volunteer service over the previous twelve months;
  • demonstrate the qualities named above (integrity, commitment to serving those in need, and dedication to fostering the growth and gifts of others); and
  • be current full-time undergraduates at a member institution.

Nominations will be accepted until February 12, 2021 using the process described on the attached form.  The Award winner will be announced by March 5, 2021 at www.cccc-in.org.

Thank you for taking time to honor the volunteer service of our students,

Josh Killey, Margaret Krantz, Erin Mahoney, and Jeffry Neuhouser
