CANCELED: Teacher Candidate Interview Day (TCID) 2020 - Candidates

In the interest of public health related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the College Career Center Consortium has decided to cancel Teacher Candidate Interview Day (TCID), originally scheduled to take place April 9, 2020.

So, what are we, as a consortium, doing to help you in your job search?

• A link to the student registration data will be sent to all of the schools/recruiters that were registered to recruit at TCID.   This link is typically made available to recruiters.  This way, recruiters will be able to search for candidates and make contact regarding potential interviews.
• The schools that had planned to attend are still listed on the Careerfair Plus app.     It is highly suggest that you go on-line to see which schools were going to attend and then apply to schools or corporations in which you are interested.
• A survey is being sent to all registered employers to determine for which positions they are recruiting this year.  Once we have the results of this survey, it will be distributed to all candidates who registered for TCID.

Teacher Candidate Interview Day (TCID) is open to schools, school districts, and other education-related organizations, interested in meeting and interviewing soon-to-be or recently certified teachers from the Consortium’s member institutions. Typically, 50-100 schools and school systems and 350+ candidates attend this event. Current academic year graduates or prospective graduates are eligible to participate from the following colleges and universities:

* Anderson University
* Butler University
* DePauw University
* Earlham College
* Franklin College
* Hanover College
* Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)

* Indiana Wesleyan University

* Marian University
* Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College
* Taylor University
* University of Evansville
* University of Indianapolis
* Wabash College

All eligible candidates should register by Monday, March 9, 2020, to be included in the Candidate Directory provided to employers.
